Economist. Visual Artist. Women’s Rights Through Art Advocate. Cake artist and gardening enthusiast. Wife and Mom. Laura began her journey in art through watercolor in 2017. She is a self-taught watercolorist but has ventured into other art mediums as well such as acrylic and oil. She is currently the Treasurer of KASIBULAN (Kababaihan sa Sining at Bagong Sibol na Kamalayan), an organization of women artists who depict and cal for women’s rights through art established since the 1970s. She is also a member of various other art groups and societies.

She has been awarded the Las Pinas City Top 12 Visual Artists, 2nd Kawayan Awards in December 2018 and won both 2nd and 3rd Place in the Wilfredo Pascual Art in Essay Competition in 30 October 2018.
